Similarly to one of the paintings discussed in class, this artist created a machine that creates its own geometric artwork as a result of random, physically-predicted motions. What I thought was very interesting was how this machine is essentially attempting the opposite of our current project: first drawing an abstracted image and then producing sound, and specifically music. The geometric pieces all feature similar ellipses and spirals, and likewise the synths are gentle and rhythmic, in parallel with the movement of the machine.
