Kinetic Typography

For my blog post, I wanted to highlight another one of the 2020 design trends that we looked at in class, and it is kinetic typography. What brought my attention to this specific example of kinetic typography is that it reminded me of what many people were doing for the field recording gestalt project, making something look 3D using something that is originally 2D and skewing it to make it look 3D. I think this kinetic typography also ties into other trends that we were talking about in class and how there is this increased linkage between art and academy.
