Landscapes and Geometric Shapes Intersect in New Paintings by Mary Iverson

The overlay of geometric figures and lines in these paintings echo the notions of perspective and shape that we aim to corroborate with in our abstractions. The chunking of colors both obscures and expands the space, as it pushes the viewer to contrive their own images of what could belong there.
