After discussing PSA campaigns in class, I’ve begun noticing the voting ads I get on Instagram and found the one that led to this site really interesting. 1 VoteCloser is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that explores 84 different issues collected from the websites of a diverse group of members of Congress allowing people to make more informed decisions when they vote. On their main page they have an animation for their logo which reminded me of the animated posters that we’re going to create and I thought it was a really inviting and interesting way of opening the website, especially by outlining the country and having faces of people in the background. I think there has been a lot of creativity with the organizations and efforts towards getting people to vote and I love seeing what people create.
