Marker Drawings Turned into Mesmerizing Looping Gifs by Benjamin Zimmermann

These gifs by Benjamin Zimmermann reminded me of the waiting gifs we talked about in class although they were not created for this purpose. This makes me wonder whether any sort of looping animation emulates a waiting feeling because it is never ending. I also really appreciated his work because of the playfulness of the marker lines and feeling of stop animation. I thought these works were really creative and some of the graphite ones are super thoughtful.
