Stainless Steel Roots Sprawl Into Figurative Sculptures by Artist Sun-Hyuk Kim

This piece of art captures movement and growth in a natural, slow-moving way. Kim is able to illustrate both the timelessness and ephemerality of human life. He is able to use elements such as tree branches to draw a connection between the body and the natural world. This reminds me of the passage of time, as we attempted to illustrate in our loading loop assignment.
