Dear Data: A Fascinating Year-Long Hand-Drawn Data Visualisation Project

This article really reminded me of our data portrait assignment as it is a very similar concept. Artists Giorgia Lupi and  Stefanie Posavec, who live in New York and London respectively, had only met each other twice when they started communicating weekly via letters in the mail. Each letter contained data they had gathered about themselves each week that was then represented through a drawing. The receiver would then work to decode the data and figure out what it meant.
