When we were talking about one of the data portrait works by a classmate, who tracked the number of job updates she sees on LinkedIn each day, we talked about how LinkedIn and other social media can feel very overwhelming with bombarding ads and information. I came across this web project made by Andy Chung, and really liked the overall concept of this CV-building website. It’s clean, user-friendly, and free of the overwhelming ads and posts from LinkedIn. The editor said “LinkedIn has always felt noisy and obnoxious to me, so much so that I can’t ever bring myself to use it.” I couldn’t agree more.
